Everything you need to know about e-invoicing in the UK

IT support provider Totality Services hasn’t looked back since switching to e-invoicing eight years ago. Having achieved some impressive cost and storage savings, director Luis Navarro says he no longer needs an in-house bookkeeper and has saved bags of time in invoice processing.

The move to e-invoicing has also boosted productivity; now all jobs on their books can be seen in real time. As well as making it easier for clients to pay them, they have also found that e-invoicing has made making payments to suppliers more streamlined. Plus, there’s no longer a need to file physical documents.

“We process around 100 invoices a month; using e-invoicing is much more cost-effective for us,” Luis says. “Since making our invoicing electronic we are a much more efficient business. The time we’ve saved has freed my team up to do other things, which is positive all round.”
